Terms of Service
Draft updated 8 October 2026
These draft terms cover Kin’s launch preview and waitlist. Kin is being developed as an assistant for parents organizing family life together.
Operator and contact
Kin GmbH. Contact details will be added before public use.
The current preview
The website demonstrates Kin’s intended experience. Example conversations do not create calendar events, send messages, buy groceries or perform tasks. The hosted launch form remains unavailable until the missing operator, retention and provider details are completed. Live phone verification, notifications and assistant integrations are not available.
Who may sign up
The waitlist is intended for people aged 18 or older. Provide only a phone number you are entitled to use. Do not submit someone else’s number or use the form for spam or unlawful activity.
Waitlist and availability
Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access, a launch date or particular features. There is no charge for this signup and no paid subscription is created. Future pricing and service conditions will be presented separately before purchase or activation.
Your permissions
Launch-update consent does not give Kin permission to access your messages, email, calendar, payments or other accounts. Adding Kin to a family group, connecting accounts and authorizing actions will need separate setup and permission controls.
Future shared use
The planned assistant will support both parents. Before sharing group messages or family information with a future live assistant, participants should understand the assistant’s role and agree on what it may access. Detailed sharing controls and action permissions are not defined by these preview terms.
Third-party services
Optional links, including a future WhatsApp community invitation, lead to services operated by others. Their own terms apply. Kin is not presented as an official WhatsApp or Google product.
Leaving the waitlist
You will be able to ask to withdraw your signup and consent through the completed operator contact. A public self-service withdrawal process must be implemented before launch notifications are enabled.
Limitations and consumer rights
The preview may change or become unavailable. Nothing in these draft terms is intended to exclude mandatory consumer protections or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Jurisdiction-specific liability and dispute provisions remain to be reviewed after the operator and launch markets are confirmed.
Changes and live-service terms
The full assistant will require updated terms explaining its capabilities, approvals and responsibilities. This preview does not appoint Kin to make purchases, enter contracts or act autonomously on your behalf.
